CCTV Systems
Q: Whats included in your 2-camera CCTV system for £399?
A: Our popular starter package is a complete solution. For £399, you get:
- Two high-quality Uniview security cameras.
- A 1TB recorder (NVR) with space to add more cameras later.
- Full, professional installation with neat and discreet cabling.
- Complete app setup on your phone for remote viewing.
Q: Can I upgrade to 4K or add more cameras later?
A: Yes, the system is fully expandable. You can add more cameras at any time (typically from £75 each) or upgrade to higher resolution 5MP or 4K cameras for even sharper image quality.
Q: Will the installation be tidy and the cables hidden?
A: Our goal is always a clean, discreet installation. We route cables through lofts, wall cavities, and under soffits wherever possible. If a cable run must be visible, we will discuss and agree on the best approach with you beforehand—no surprises.
Intruder Alarms
Q: What alarm systems do you install?
A: We specialise in modern, app-controlled alarms. Our primary recommendation is Ajax Systems, which offers best-in-class wireless performance and reliability. For clients seeking a more budget-friendly option, we also install high-quality Pyronix systems.
Q: Are there ongoing costs for the app?
A: It depends on the brand:
Ajax: The powerful smartphone app is completely free, with no subscription fees.
Pyronix: This system uses a paid cloud service to connect to the app, which costs approximately £45 per year. We’ll explain both options clearly during your quote.
Q: What happens if my Wi-Fi goes down?
A: The alarm will still function as a local siren to deter intruders. To maintain mobile alerts even when your Wi-Fi is down, we can install an optional SIM card backup module. This requires a small charge for the module and SIM activation.
Smart Doorbells & Entry Systems
Q: Do you install smart video doorbells?
A: Yes. We recommend models that put you in control of your footage without mandatory monthly fees. Our preferred choices are Uniview and EZVIZ. We configure them to record locally to your CCTV recorder or an internal SD card, so you own your data.
Q: I have electric gates or a block of flats. Can you help?
A: Certainly. For properties with gates, multi-tenant buildings, or advanced access needs, we install professional-grade door entry and intercom systems from industry leaders like Hikvision, Paxton, and Videx. These are designed for managing gate releases, timed access for staff, and more complex scenarios.

A: Every quote is tailored to your property. However, our starting prices are:

Q: Do you offer finance or monthly payments?
A: We do not offer finance at this time. By keeping our payment process simple (no credit checks or commission-based sales), we can maintain fair and transparent upfront pricing for all our customers.
Q: Will you beat a quote from another company?
A: We are always competitive on genuine, like-for-like quotes using the same quality of equipment and installation standards. We won’t compromise on quality to match a “cowboy” price, but we will always offer our best possible price for a professional job.
Service & Support
Q: What warranty is included with my installation?
A: Every installation comes with a 12-month warranty that covers any faults with the equipment or our workmanship. If a component fails or something isn’t right due to the installation, we will fix it free of charge.
Q: What is not covered by the warranty? (e.g., changing Wi-Fi, forgetting my password)
A: The warranty covers system faults, not user-related issues or changes to your home environment. A standard call-out fee will apply if you need our help with:
Reconnecting the app after changing your Wi-Fi router or password.
Setting up the app on a new phone.
Assistance with a forgotten app password (we do not store your login details for security reasons).
We show you how to manage your own login details during the handover.
Q: Can I book a maintenance service after the warranty period?
A: Of course. We offer one-off service visits and annual check-ups to ensure your system remains in perfect working order for years to come.
